All things French!

There's something about stripes, matching blue with red, long trench coats and berets that makes me love everything French! I own two berets, and I love nothing more than wearing them with a navy and white striped long tee tucked into a long flowy skirt and a pair of gorgeous pumps. It is my love for all things French that has inspired me to write this post and share with you a few of my favourite outfit ideas! Enjoy! Ooh la la!

Louboutin Bridget Strass Pumps

In a previous post I mentioned the Louboutin Bibi, a timeless shoe and one of my personal favourites. Well, today meet Bridget. Christian Louboutin's Bridget Strass Pump that is. I love the way the feminine and delicate Japanese-esque flowers mesh in with the completely glamourous strass heel. The Bridget pump also comes in a lace/animal print combo as well, but IMO the strass is 93850x better. When it comes to wearing them, these shoes are very loud so personally I would team them with jeans and a white tee for daywear and pair them with a LBD and some cute accessories in the evening.

Bright Clutches

This summer is all about colour colour colour! Whilst I'm a big fan of brights, I'm not too sure I'm ready to rock whole colour blocked outfits, so at the moment I'm hunting around for cute ways to incorporate more colour into my outfits. One fantastic way to do this is by stocking up on some bright clutches! Bright clutches can add a splash of colour to a monochromatic outfit or even compliment an already bright ensemble. Check out some of my favourites and let me know what you think! P.S how cute is the lime green Witchery one!?

Yves Saint Laurent Arty Oval RIng

Unless you've been hiding in a hole for the last little while, than you already know about the YSL Arty Oval Ring! This ring combines delicate metal work and a bright stone in a quirky kind of look which clearly the celebrities are digging, as it seems everyone and their mother is flaunting this ring! Personally I love all the colours, but faced with choosing a favourite, I would have to go with the turquoise. While this beauty is quite the steal, (in the designer jewellery world at least) at $250 I don't think I'll be getting mine anytime soon..

Cocolàtte Cardigans

Cardigans truly are very trans-seasonal. I wear them under coats in winter, layered in the fall, on chilly days in spring and even in summer when I want to cover up a bit from the sun. Which is why, when I was at Cocolàtte yesterday and spotted a 'ALL CARDIGANS $7.99' sign, I went a bit crazy. Okay, a lot crazy. Alright, I bought five. And my five new beautiful cardigans, in light grey, coffee, cobalt, red, and jet black only came to a grand total of $40! I snuck in a photo of the receipt too, just for proof!

Nine West Jaxson Wedges

I originally saw these espadrille wedges in the August issue of InStyle Australia and reluctantly had to wait another month before they became available, however I am proud to say that these beautiful babies made their way to me from the U.S on Thursday and wow are they gorgeous! Even with the ridiculous shipping fee of $40 (!!) they only came to $73.50, which is still less than half price of the $150 these lovelies cos here in Aus! I wore them the other day with a navy summer dress and thin olive green knit sweater and I must say they are very comfortable!

I tried the orange on at a Nine West store near me, and in reality
the orange is really not very nice.

I couldn't resist the magnificence of the original black!

The Perfect White Summer Dress

In just three days spring will be upon us! However with this warm weather that we've had lately, one can safely assume that very soon summer-esque weather will bless us! I've been on the hunt lately for the perfect white summer dress. You know the one, the dress that you can wear with some flat sandals, bathers and summer curls to the beach, the one you can wear with heeled sandals, a little jacket and a sleek ponytail to diner and the one you can wear with espadrilles and a hot pink cardigan to a summer picnic or afternoon barbeque. I haven't found anything 100% perfect yet, but check out what I'm going for!
